Terms and conditions

The basics of using this site and requesting an inspection or estimate.

Last updated: October 2026

Estimates

Prices on this site are 2026 ranges for the Mobile area so you can budget. The price you pay is the written, itemized estimate you receive after an on-site inspection, and it's good for the period stated on it (normally 30 days). An estimate is not a contract until you sign it. Alabama requires roofing quotes and contracts to be in writing, and ours are.

Who does the work

Roofing arranged through this site is performed by contractors licensed by the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board as residential roofers, carrying the Board's $10,000 bond and general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Commercial work over the state threshold is performed under the appropriate general contractor license. License numbers and certificates of insurance are printed on the contract and available before work begins.

Permits, insurance claims and the grant

We apply for the building permit your address requires and itemize the fee. We document storm damage, provide estimates and meet your adjuster, but we are not public adjusters and do not negotiate insurance claims. We do not waive, absorb or rebate deductibles. We help with Strengthen Alabama Homes applications and coordinate FORTIFIED evaluators, but grant approval and the designation are decided by the program and the evaluator, not by us.

Payment

No deposit is due until you've approved the written price and the work is scheduled; a materials deposit may be due when materials are delivered. Most residential work is paid on completion. Emergency and storm work is priced by phone before a crew rolls and invoiced in writing afterward.

Website

The content on this site is general information about roofing and the rules that apply to it in the Mobile area. It is not an engineering opinion on your roof, an insurance coverage determination, or legal or tax advice. Codes, fees, grant schedules and insurance rules change; the City's, the County's, the state's and the program's current documents govern.
